Nathan T's Dark Hunter
Nice looking result from Nathan Toal here, in 1084 and red and black epoxy scales. He calls it the Dark Hunter, a very nice result with blued carbon steel blade.

Making a knife from an old file
Scott T in Victoria has sent us a photo showing how his block of stabilised curly birch turned out. The blade is from an old file given a new lease on life, the guard is in polished brass. This may not be a secret, that we are quite fond of Curly Birch here at Creative Man, and stabilised CB is no exception! Stabilised wood has the added benefits of not absorbing moisture and being able to take a bit more abuse than raw wood handles.
