San Mai 180 with Ironwood handle and Saya
Jamie M sent some photos today of a beautiful Japan-inspired Chef knife.The blade is a San Mai Santoku 180 with handle and matching Saya in Ironwood.The blade is recessed into the handle block, and a cypress pine bolster completes the knife.

Beautiful Damascus Set from Karim G-E with Myrtle Burl
Stunning kitchen set by Karim G-E using Japanese damascus blades.Upper part of the blades are traditional Japanese hand hammered "Tsuchime" which helps separate food when cut and the blades have matching handles in Myrtle Burl and Gaboon Ebony. Sambar Antler, Brass and Ladder Damascus by Ted M
