Fiebing’s Hi-Liter is a water-based highlighting stain specially formulated to accent tooled or embossed leather. It enhances depth by darkening cuts and impressions while leaving the rest of the surface lighter, creating contrast and definition in your tooling work.

Hi-Liter adds a rich, lustrous brown tone to smooth, natural leather and can be buffed to a soft gloss finish. It is ideal for decorative leather projects like belts, wallets, or any piece where tooled detail should stand out.

Note: Not intended to be used as an all-over dye. For best results, apply to tooled vegetable-tanned leather and finish with a protective topcoat such as Fiebing’s Resolene or Tan Kote.

Fiebing's Hi Liter is another alternative to Antique Stain, for a somewhat different end result. Antique Stain come in several colours while the Hi Liter only comes in medium brown. Hi Liter is easy to apply and creates a rich, brown colour.
