Description
This set of two Quilted Maple Handle Scales features highly figured maple wood with dramatic “quilted” grain – a rare and prized pattern with swirling, three-dimensional depth. These blocks are more intensely figured than curly maple, with a twisted ripple-like effect that makes every set stand out.
Quilted maple is ideal for knife makers seeking a premium natural look or planning to stabilise the wood with Resinex or Cactus Juice to enhance the grain and colour.
Each pair is cut from solid maple and may display natural variations in grain and colour. As with all natural wood products, some sets may have small inclusions that can be filled with super glue if needed.
